Job summary

ELEMENT is seeking a skilled logistics professional to oversee truck routing, dispatching, and e fleet operations in New Orleans, LA. The role includes supervising warehouse and road crew staff, maintaining daily schedules, and ensuring all loads are properly prepared for departure.

The successful candidate will monitor truck locations, report disruptions promptly, and review all returned paperwork for accuracy before forwarding to the Sales department.

Responsibilities

• Route and dispatch trucks efficiently and accurately.
• Track truck locations to ensure on-schedule progress.
• Verify trucks are loaded and road-ready before departure.
• Supervise warehouse and road crew employees, including scheduling.
• Create and maintain the schedules for operations staff.
• Report issues or disruptions to management promptly.
• Review returned paperwork for accuracy before submission to Sales.

Job description

The Employee’s key duties include, but are not limited to:

• Routing and dispatching trucks efficiently and accurately.
• Tracking truck locations and ensuring they stay on schedule and route.
• Verifying that trucks are properly loaded and road-ready before departure.
• Supervising and managing all warehouse and road crew employees , including scheduling, shift coverage, and daily oversight.
• Making and maintaining the employee schedule for all operations staff..
• Reporting issues, incidents, or disruptions to management promptly.
• Performing other duties as assigned by management.
• Reviewing and verifying all returned paperwork, including contracts, for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to the Sales department.
