Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group in Green Bay, WI is seeking an experienced Dispatch Operations Supervisor to plan shipping operations, drive KPI attainment, and manage up to 75 drivers. You will coordinate with dispatchers, fleet managers and Scheduling Team Leaders to optimize payload, on-time deliveries and safety.

This role requires a high school diploma, logistics dispatch experience, and strong communication; proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics software is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate daily with Scheduling Team Leader(s) on growth and improvement opportunities.
• Assess and adjust operating plans to maximize growth, efficiency and safety.
• Solicit new and existing customers for freight opportunities.
• Update sourcing and revise daily plan to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere and facilitate efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and other departments.
• Manage day-to-day operations of up to 75 drivers.
• Coordinate maintenance issues with Terminal Managers and Lead Technicians.

Position Summary

Essential Functions

• Partner with dispatchers and fleet managers to plan and carry out shipping operations

• Evaluate current operating plan and create future plans with focus on payload, on-time deliveries, and loaded mile percentage
• Engage and collaborate daily with Scheduling Team Leader(s) on opportunities of growth and improvement for KAG assets.
• Assess and adjust current and future operating plans to maximize growth, efficiency and safety
• Solicit new and existing customers for freight opportunities.
• Update known sourcing as changes occur and revise daily operating plan as necessary to ensure operational efficiency
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the overall efficiency and success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, dispatchers, and other departments to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
• Manage day-to-day operations of up to 75 drivers
