Job summary

Diamondback Airboats, LLC seeks an Operations Director to lead and optimize performance across inventory, production, sales, purchasing, and customer service. The role partners with the COO to translate goals into priorities, establish KPIs, and develop scalable, lean processes.

You will drive cross-functional improvements, manage SOPs, and mentor department leaders while overseeing safety, budgets, and forecasts to support growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment or similar.
• 5+ years overseeing multiple operational functions in manufacturing (inventory control, purchasing, sales, production, logistics, customer service).
• Experience developing and sustaining SOPs that improve efficiency.
• Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills with a proven ability to drive initiatives through completion.
• Proven ability to establish expectations, promote accountability, and influence outcomes across departments.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and ERP systems.
• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree in business/operations/supply chain preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational performance across multiple departments including inventory control, purchasing, web sales management, customer service, and other operational areas.
• Provide cross-functional leadership of sales, production, and other functions.
• Translate company goals into operational priorities, objectives, and action plans with the owner and department leaders.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, review trends, and provide reporting and recommendations to leadership.
• Review financial statements and identify root causes to improve profitability.
• Contribute to annual forecasts and budgets; ensure adherence to approved processes.
• Oversee safety standards and enforce compliance across the workplace.
• Mentor department leaders to strengthen leadership and accountability.
