Job summary

IPS is seeking a Director of Operations in San Clemente, CA to lead manufacturing, planning, supply chain, and continuous improvement initiatives. This hands-on leadership role focuses on long-term financial performance and alignment with corporate directives.

You will drive KPIs, optimize production, and oversee safety, quality, and delivery while partnering with Engineering, Sales, and Finance to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a scientific discipline; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years in a senior leadership role supporting operations; medical industry preferred.
• 3+ years in Value Stream Management and Operational Excellence transformations.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations including manufacturing, planning, supply chain, quality, and safety.
• Develop and drive continuous improvement road maps and KPI adoption.
• Manage budget, headcount, and capital planning for optimal plant performance.
• Collaborate with finance for cost and profitability analysis.
• Direct supply chain to ensure material quality and regulatory compliance.
