Job summary

IRP Medical in San Clemente, CA is seeking a Director of Operations to lead manufacturing, planning, supply chain, continuous improvement, maintenance, quality and safety. This hands-on role is accountable for the long-term financial performance of all value streams within IRP Operations and ensures alignment to strategic growth.

Qualifications

• Robust lean manufacturing experience in molding environments (Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, 5S, Kanban).
• Knowledge of production processes, costs, and strategic planning with resource allocation.
• Analytical problem solving and strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team to execute the Annual Operating Plan for safety, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, inventory, cost and growth.
• Develop and implement processes, metrics and accountability to drive improvements across the site.
• Maximize plant efficiency, product quality, throughput, delivery performance, profitability and ROI.
• Manage spend against budget and respond to changes in production volume.
• Oversee production scheduling to optimize hours and overtime usage.
• Participate in budgeting and long-range capital planning to support growth needs.
• Collaborate with Finance on cost and profitability analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement roadmaps and PFEP planning.
• Direct Supply Chain to ensure material quality and compliance with requirements.
