Job summary

BCR Environmental Corporation is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the execution and delivery of complex capital equipment, wastewater treatment, biosolids processing, and industrial infrastructure projects across North America.

This role serves as the operational leader responsible for aligning outsourced manufacturing, field services, construction activities, commissioning, and aftermarket support to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Building Sciences, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, project management, construction management, industrial services, capital equipment, or infrastructure environments
• Minimum of 3 years leading multidisciplinary teams responsible for project delivery, field operations, or industrial infrastructure execution
• Demonstrated experience leading operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within capital equipment, industrial manufacturing, EPC, or project-based environments
• Proven ability to develop KPI-driven operating systems, performance dashboards, standardized processes, and data-driven decision-making practices

Responsibilities

• Lead operational activities across field service, commissioning, aftermarket support, and project execution functions
• Develop and implement operational strategies, processes, and performance metrics that improve efficiency, scalability, project delivery, and profitability
• Lead the company’s operational excellence strategy by implementing Lean Six Sigma principles, standardized operating procedures, KPI-driven management systems, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Utilize operational data, analytics, and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies, perform root cause analysis, optimize workflows, improve resource utilization
• Establish operational KPIs and reporting systems to monitor project performance, staffing utilization, customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and financial outcomes
• Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning, operational growth initiatives, organizational development, and resource allocation
• Develop and improve operational workflows, project execution standards, and resource planning processes that support organizational growth
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, safety, and customer service excellence
