Job summary

University of California-Berkeley is seeking an Operations Director for the Center for Healthcare Marketplace Innovation (CHMI) within the Haas School of Business. You will oversee day-to-day operations, budgets, HR, and space management for the center and its research labs, startup studio, and policy initiatives.

You will collaborate with Haas, IBI, center faculty across departments, and external stakeholders to ensure program execution, fundraising, and grant activities while maintaining

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of data management, contracts and grants management, fund management and personnel management.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience with budget planning and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the CHMI center and its programs.
• Coordinate with Haas, IBI, campus faculty and staff on programs, projects and events.
• Lead budgeting, financial planning, HR tasks and space management for the center.
• Manage grants and contracts processes, including compliance and reporting.
