Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a supervisor for our community-based programs in East Stroudsburg, PA. The role provides supervision, direction, and support to ensure efficient operation of assigned programs under the Regional Director's oversight.

You will supervise Program Specialists, evaluate performance, set growth goals, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies. The position emphasizes program enhancements based on regular data and stakeholder feedback.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with 1 year experience working directly with persons developmentally disabled; or a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of such experience.
• Associate Degree or 60 credit hours with four years of such experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of Program Specialists and align performance with company policies and procedures.
• Evaluate staff performance and set goals for continuing growth.
• Ensure programs operate in compliance with regulations and policies; obtain information from staff through meetings.
• Make recommendations for enhancements or changes to the Regional Director.

About this role

A person in this position provides the supervision, direction, and support integral in the efficient operation of assigned programs. Responsibilities are varied in nature and are carried out under the direct supervision of the Regional Director. Supervises a staff of Program Specialists and ensures that their performance is in line with Company policies and procedures and program regulations; evaluates their performance and establishes goals and objectives for continuing growth and efficiency in performing job duties; takes corrective action when necessary. Ensures that programs operate in compliance with regulations, established policies, and acceptable operating procedures; obtains information from program specialists through regular contact and established meetings to determine if programs operate as expected; makes recommendations for enhancements/changes to the Regional Director.

Required Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree and one year of experience working directly with persons developmentally
  disabled; or a Bachelor’s Degree and two years of experience working directly with such persons; or an Associate Degree or 60 credit hours and four years of such experience.
