Job summary

Pharmavite is seeking a Department Leader to manage daily operations for a production department, driving safety, quality, cost, and reliability. You will lead a team of up to 25 employees, coach staff, and align performance with the company’s purpose and continuous improvement mindset.

The role requires a four-year degree, minimum four years in a manufacturing environment with supervisory experience, and proficiency with MRP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Six Sigma and/or Lean/Continuous Improvement experience preferred.
• Internal Lean Green Belt certification and Kata training within one year is desired.
• Minimum four years’ experience in a Manufacturing/CPG environment with supervisory leadership is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Annual Operating Plan for the department.
• Lead and set the tone for the team aligned with Pharmavite values.
• Prioritize work to achieve productivity, safety, and quality goals.
• Coach and develop team capabilities through feedback and training.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure flow of materials and products.
• Investigate NCRs and drive root-cause problem solving with urgency.
• Champion Autonomous Maintenance projects and daily improvement initiatives.
