Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking an Operations Data and Digital Transformation Manager to bridge Operations and IT/DBT, ensuring Oracle Fusion ERP, MES, PLM, and SIOP tools align with production, planning, and quality goals.

duties include driving data governance, standardization, change management, and adoption of Industry 4.0 practices to improve visibility, reliability, and dashboard accuracy across the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Immersive experience in an Oracle Fusion ERP operating environment is a must.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or IT/DBT.
• Experience implementing and supporting digital business tools in a manufacturing environment (MES, PLM, or SIOP).
• Demonstrated project management experience with system deployments or upgrades.
• Strong knowledge of master data structures (BOMs, routings, inventory) and operational KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Translate operational needs into IT system specifications and enhancements.
• Act as liaison between Operations and IT/DBT to align tools with shop floor, planning, supply chain, and quality.
• Ensure ERP, MES, PLM, and SIOP systems enable and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead rollout of digital technology into the Operations environment.
• Train Operations teams in digital tools for adoption and user confidence.
• Gather and elevate feedback from shop floor, planning, and materials teams to IT/DBT.
• Standardize and improve processes to match digital workflows.
• Align dashboards KPIs with digital systems and validate accuracy.
