Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a data analyst for Palmetto GBA in Columbia. The role is full-time, 40 hours, Monday–Friday, with typical 8:00 AM–5:00 PM hours and occasional overtime.

You will evaluate procedures, monitor performance reports, and develop procedures and training materials to improve efficiency. Responsibilities include analyzing internal metrics, supporting system implementations, and collaborating with staff to document findings and trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2 years of data analysis or related operations experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and data reporting.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates existing procedures to recommend improvements.
• Monitors reports and assesses the impact of performance on key measures.
• Provides analyses of internal performance metrics for projects and for individuals.
• Assists in the implementation and maintenance of systems or processes.
• Develops and maintains written procedures and end-user training materials.
• Conducts workflow audits and documents progress, performance, or trends.
