Job summary

Mathematica is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support and coordinate core operational processes, governance workflows, and cross-functional initiatives. You will help with project review, scheduling, documentation management, and process improvements across teams.

You will contribute to CX initiatives, KPI maintenance, and reporting to drive organizational insight and continuous improvement, with a focus on data quality and automation using tools like Power Automate and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent combinations considered.
• 3-5 years of experience in business operations or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Experience with workflow automation tools (Power Automate).
• Experience with process documentation and supporting workflow development.
• Familiarity with data analysis, KPI reporting, and performance measurement processes.
• Experience supporting Client Experience (CX) programs, including survey tools and feedback synthesis.
• Strong written communication and ability to develop training materials and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support project review processes across initiatives, including timelines and stakeholders.
• Serve as primary PR coordination contact; route issues for resolution.
• Monitor operational issues and escalate risks as needed.
• Maintain governance workflows for consistency and compliance.
• Support CX initiatives, including survey deployment and data management.
• Develop KPI reports and support leadership with insights.
• Maintain SOPs, templates, and documentation for consistency.
• Develop workflow automations and translate requirements into configurations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
