Job summary

Legends Global seeks an Operations Crew Member to support event preparation and cleanup at the Fishers Event Center. You will assist with setting up flooring, seating, walls, and equipment, and help maintain cleanliness and supplies between events.

The role requires physical work, ability to lift, and willingness to work nights and weekends. Prior ice maintenance experience is a plus, with a strong team mindset and reliable communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience.
• Experience with ice maintenance and/or ice resurfacing machine preferred.
• Strong communication, organization and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in setting up and tearing down event spaces and furnishings.
• Assist with day-to-day facility operations and cleaning tasks during events.
• Support ice maintenance related duties and rink systems as needed.
• Coordinate with technicians and labor teams; report issues to supervisor.
• Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Under general supervision, performs work as needed to clean, maintain and prepare for events at the facility. Duties include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which often require heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion.Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Participate in all aspects of the conversion process in preparation for events. Duties may include setting up and tearing down flooring, portable chairs, operable wall, barricades, staging, tables, other furnishings and equipment· Perform varies duties to ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility are met. These include, but not limited to, loading/unloading delivery trucks, transporting trash and waste to proper disposal area and replenishing supplies· Assist with pre/post event cleaning and janitorial tasks including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, vacuuming, spot cleaning, washing, stripping, carpet cleaning, window washing and waxing· Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as painting, patching, re-lamping, replacing ceiling tile, replacing filters, etc· Assist building engineers and subcontractors in construction, repair and maintenance of the building· Report irregularities, discrepancies, safety or damage concerns or loss of property promptly to supervisor· Assist in leading temporary labor and part time team members on various tasks· Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed· Assist in ice maintenance and repair, installing/taking out ice, hockey wall maintenance, and any ice rink systems related maintenance and repair· Perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
