Job summary

Legends Global at the Fishers Event Center is seeking a part-time Bar Supervisor to oversee event bar operations. You will lead bartenders and bar backs, ensure compliant beverage service, and manage inventory, costs, and cleanliness to deliver a premium guest experience.

The role requires supervisory experience, a valid Indiana liquor license, and strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with F&B staff during diverse events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a bar setting.

The Bar Supervisor requires an individual to have supervisory skills, customer service skills, positive attitude, and knowledge of alcohol and bars.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee all aspects of bar setup, service, and breakdown for events.Lead and manage a team of bartenders and bar backs, ensuring professionalism and efficiency.Monitor beverage service to ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and Legends policies.Ensure bar areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked prior to and during events.Handle opening and closing bar inventories; communicate needs to Food & Beverage or Assistant Food & Beverage ManagerTrain and coach staff on proper pouring techniques, customer service, and responsible alcohol service.Ordering, receiving and preparing food itemsMaintaining bar costs, waste log, and budget goalsMust possess effective communication with NPO Groups, bartenders, third party subcontractors and concession employeesAbility to oversee production of retail bar operations to be prepared for peak and slow periodsAble to adequately trouble shoot point of sale equipmentInventory and quality controlsAbility to handle and properly respond to guest concerns with a solution-focused attitudeWorking hours vary by show to include days, nights, weekdays, and weekendsMaintains all bar equipment. Adheres to cleaning and sanitation schedule.Other duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises all Bar personnel and NPO staff. Support Concessions personnel, as needed. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
