Job summary

IDEX Corporation in Farmington, CT is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day manufacturing operations, manage timekeeping, scheduling, and workforce administration, and act as a bridge between Operations, HR, and Payroll. You will partner with frontline leaders, ensure accurate timecards, help develop staffing plans, monitor attendance and overtime, and provide regular workforce reporting.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in operations coordination or payroll-related roles.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with timekeeping systems (UKG/Kronos, ADP, Workday) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own daily administration and review of timecards, hours, schedules, and overtime.
• Coordinate workforce planning based on production needs and headcount.
• Maintain visibility to staffing by department, shift, and skill.
• Provide regular workforce reporting to Operations leadership.
• Serve as liaison between Operations, HR, and Payroll.
