Job summary

Simcote Inc in Marion, OH is seeking an Operations Coordinator to serve as the central hub between customers, sales, production, and logistics. You’ll help ensure on-time deliveries, accurate shipping schedules, and efficient production documentation.

The role is onsite at our Marion facility, with responsibilities including coordinating trucking, maintaining orders and rebar tags, and supporting inventory and reporting activities, while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate proactively with customers regarding production timelines and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to maintain daily shipping schedules.
• Manage and update production documentation, including orders and rebar tags.
• Arrange trucking for outbound deliveries.
• Provide backup support for inventory and production reporting.
• Manage the number and frequency of customer pickups per day.
