Job summary

Simcote is seeking an Operations Coordinator at our Marion, OH facility. You will connect customers, sales, production, and logistics to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient operations across the manufacturing process.

You will coordinate daily shipping, maintain order and tag documentation, and support inventory and reporting tasks. The role requires strong communication, organization, and ERP familiarity to support a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Communicate proactively with customers regarding production timelines and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to establish and maintain daily shipping schedules.
• Manage and update production documentation, including orders and rebar tags.
• Arrange and coordinate trucking for outbound deliveries.
• Provide backup support for administrative tasks such as inventory and production reporting.
• Manage and control the number and frequency of customer pickup per day.
