Job summary

SOSi in Reston, Virginia seeks an Operations Coordinator I to support the Order-to-Fulfill process for a nationwide language interpretation program. You will procure interpreters, coordinate travel and lodging, and ensure work orders are fulfilled on time and at best value.

Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or four years of related experience, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and coordination activities supporting language

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, or four years of relevant work experience.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Office Software a must)
• Minimum of two years’ of related administrative/coordination experience supporting a language services or other relatable program
• Effective communication through oral and written communication with customers, management and coworkers

Responsibilities

• Procures language interpreter services to fulfill the customer’s requirements.
• Completes O2F process activities from work order solicitation to award.
• Monitors day-to-day operational requirements and updates relevant databases.
• Coordinates interpreter travel and lodging within guidelines.
• Performs cost-benefit analyses for each work order to ensure best value.
• Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to allocate resources.
• Plans and prioritizes multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
