Spicer Exceptional Therapies is an in-home ABA therapy provider dedicated to expanding autism care in the northwest Chicago suburbs. We provide effective, evidence-based ABA therapy that is engaging for children and supportive for families to help children reach their full potential.
About you
- Passion for expanding autism care
- Industry experience in ABA therapy or willingness to gain experience
- Knowledge or interest in the ABA payor landscape
- Previous administrative experience preferred
- Proficiency in office software and systems
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and office management
- Familiarity with medical or dental office operations is a plus
Position Summary
Provide administrative support to the owner, including scheduling, marketing, interviewing behavior technicians, managing intake, caseloads, authorizations, and other clerical duties such as answering phones, data processing, and record-keeping.
- Assist with billing and record keeping for clinical services
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, families, community, and staff
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Gather insurance information for billing
- Review billing records for compliance
- Ensure timely submission of paperwork like timesheets and session notes
- Interview potential BT and RBT staff
- Support outreach and marketing efforts
- Attend job fairs with the owner
- Monitor authorizations and enrollments
- Develop policies and procedures as needed

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma; additional courses in Human Services are a plus
- Experience: Experience with developmental disabilities helpful but not required
- Other: Must pass a criminal background check; willing to learn from training

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28-$31 per hour
