Schedule: M-F 4:30 AM-1 PM

Role Purpose

The Distribution Operations Coordinator supports management in daily supply distribution operations, identifies staffing constraints, and coordinates workloads and assignments. The role requires expertise in inventory and resource management systems (e.g., Wavemark, Atpar, FLICS, PeopleSoft) to manage all par locations enterprise-wide. Ensuring standard work practices are communicated and adhered to across the system is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

1. Performs service audits, participates in customer service recovery, and oversees departmental operations in the absence of the supervisor.
2. Represents the department in supply distribution initiatives, attends meetings, collaborates with clinicians and system-wide staff, and communicates with clinical department leads, supervisors, and management.
3. Maintains expertise on current and emerging inventory management technologies and shares best practices across the organization.
4. Supports daily supply availability by working with purchasing, sourcing, utilization management, and vendors to ensure supplies meet clinical needs.
5. Coordinates the design, setup, and reporting of new par locations, including during hospital renovations, new facilities, or operational changes.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 2-5 years in relevant roles

Supervisor Experience: None required
