The Operations Coordinator II supports internationally recruited healthcare professionals throughout the U.S. immigration process, from petition filing through post‑arrival support. This role coordinates immigration case activities, manages documentation, tracks case milestones, and serves as a primary point of contact for healthcare professionals navigating employment‑based immigration processes.
The ideal candidate has experience coordinating immigration‑related processes, maintaining accurate case records, managing large volumes of documentation, and communicating effectively with candidates, government agencies, and internal stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, organization, customer service, and the ability to manage multiple cases in a deadline‑driven environment.
Coordinate employment‑based immigration cases, including preparation and submission of immigration filings. Prepare Form I‑140 petitions, ETA‑9089 documentation, support letters, exhibits, and related filing materials for review. Monitor case progression and ensure timely completion of required immigration milestones. Maintain accurate case records, receipt numbers, filing dates, and status updates within Odoo. Track immigration correspondence, notices, and filing deadlines. Initiate follow‑up inquiries with USCIS for cases experiencing processing delays. Support H‑1B petition preparation and submission activities as assigned.
Coordinate National Visa Center (NVC) processing activities and case progression. Process NVC fee payments and collect required civil documentation. Submit requests for case updates, corrections, and status changes with NVC and U.S. Consulates. Maintain accurate immigration timelines, case statuses, and budget date tracking in Odoo. Monitor consular processing milestones to support successful candidate placement timelines.
Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned population of healthcare professionals. Provide ongoing communication and status updates throughout the immigration process. Respond to candidate questions related to immigration case progression and documentation requirements. Conduct start‑date readiness calls to prepare candidates for visa interviews, travel, relocation, and onboarding activities. Document all candidate interactions and case activities in company systems.
Assist healthcare professionals with Green Card and Social Security Number (SSN) inquiries. Coordinate receipt, tracking, delivery, and filing of immigration‑related documents. Provide support for delayed SSN issuance and other post‑arrival immigration matters. Prepare follow‑to‑join documentation for eligible dependents. Draft and distribute visa‑related support documentation including VisaScreen and support letters.
Maintain complete, accurate, and audit‑ready electronic case files. Ensure all case actions, communications, and supporting documentation are recorded in Odoo. Adhere to company policies, immigration regulations, and compliance standards. Monitor case data for accuracy and elevate issues as appropriate.
Partner with Recruiting, Credentialing, Licensure, Relocation, Immigration, and Operations teams to support successful candidate placements. Support departmental initiatives and operational projects as needed. Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts that enhance candidate experience and operational efficiency.

Pay Rate $18.25 - $21.50 Hourly Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
You will be expected to come into an AMN Healthcare office at a frequency dependent on the work arrangement for your role.
