Company OverviewWe are a real estate management company overseeing a diversified portfolio of more than 30 commercial and residential properties throughout the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to support the operational functions of our commercial property portfolio and assist the Vice President of Operations and the property managers in maintaining efficient, compliant, and well-operated buildings.Position SummaryThe Operations Coordinator serves as a central point of coordination for building operations, regulatory compliance, vendor management, maintenance activities, and administrative support. This role works closely with property managers, vendors, contractors, regulatory agencies, and the accounting department to ensure operational issues are addressed efficiently and compliance requirements are met.Key ResponsibilitiesTrack compliance deadlines, inspection reports, violations, corrective actions, and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies to schedule inspections, maintenance, testing, and repairs.Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, proposals, contracts, service reports, and compliance documentation.Monitor the status of service requests and follow up to ensure timely completion of work.Interface with the accounting department regarding invoices, vendor payments, purchase orders, contract administration, and operational expenditures.Assist with the preparation of operational reports, project tracking logs, and management updates.Support property managers with operational planning, project coordination, and issue resolution.Provide general administrative and operational support as needed.QualificationsTwo or more years of experience in operations coordination, property management, or a related field is preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.Ability to interact professionally with vendors, contractors, tenants, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders.Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability.Schedule & Work EnvironmentFull-time, 40 hours per week.100% on-site in Washington, DC 20037.Requires regular coordination with property managers, vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies.Supports a portfolio of commercial office buildings in a collaborative, fast-paced property management environment.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance.Short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance.Paid time off (PTO) and sick leave.Paid company holidays.On-site parking garage access.Employment sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates, subject to company policy and applicable requirements.
