Job summary

Ironclad Environmental Solutions is seeking an Operations Coordinator to oversee yard activities at our Texas facility. The role focuses on safety, efficiency, and ensuring the yard meets performance expectations by coordinating daily tasks and resources.

You will manage unit preparation for rental or sale, oversee deliveries and pickups, and schedule the team to maximize available units based on demand. Strong communication and OSHA knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required, some college preferred.
• 2 Years of operations experience.
• Knowledge in MS Office Suite - including Excel.
• Ability to multi-task effectively.
• Knowledge of OSHA and state specific safety regulations.
• Welding experience or welding certificate.
• Forklift Certification preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly: verbal & written.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of all positions, focusing on safety and efficiently preparing units for rental/sale.
• Coordinate the delivery and pick-up of units.
• Assign and schedule the team to maximize time and increase available units based on upcoming demand.
• Monitor all costs and production to ensure effective use of resources and time.
• Coach, train, and mentor team to focus on safety, efficiency, and high performance.
• Develop new processes & procedures with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Oversee the ordering/scheduling of supplies and branch necessities.
• Other duties as assigned.

About The Job

The primary focus of this position is to oversee and ensure the success of the yard operations. With a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency, this role will manage key functions within the assigned branch, ensuring the yard consistently meets all performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day operations of all positions, focusing on safety and efficiently preparing units for rental/sale.
• Coordinate the delivery and pick-up of units.
• Based on demand and forecast of units, the operations coordinator will assign and schedule the team to maximize time and increase available units based on upcoming demand.
• Will monitor all costs and production to ensure effective use of resources and time.
• Will coach, train, and mentor team to focus on safety, efficiency, and high performance.
• Works with the operations manager to develop new processes & procedures with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• The operations coordinator may also oversee the ordering/scheduling of supplies and branch necessities.
• Other duties as assigned.
