Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an entry-level Temporary Trading & Onboarding Consultant to support financial advisors and trading teams during Commonwealth’s transition to LPL’s ClientWorks Rebalancer platform. The role focuses on onboarding, data review, training, and issue resolution across multiple teams.

The position is contract-based, hybrid from Fort Mill, SC, with a pay range of $32.00 - $38.00 per hour. The role requires strong communication, trading knowledge, and FINRA Series 7 where possible.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 7 (strongly preferred).
• Knowledge of mutual funds, equities, ETFs, and options.
• Model-based portfolio management experience.
• Portfolio rebalancing experience.
• Trading instructions, restrictions, and equivalents experience.
• Experience supporting advisors by phone.
• Platform onboarding and training experience.
• Conversion, acquisition, or implementation support experience.
• Data review and reconciliation experience.

Responsibilities

• Support advisors and internal trading teams during platform conversion.
• Assist with model management, assignments, restrictions, equivalents, portfolio rebalancing, and block trading workflows.
• Deliver training through webinars, demonstrations, office hours, appointments, and inbound calls.
• Explain workflow differences between Commonwealth and LPL systems.
• Review conversion data to identify setup issues and missing information.
• Research and document advisor, account, model, and system questions.
• Escalate complex issues to business and technology partners.
• Update FAQs, guides, job aids, and training materials.
• Track issues and ensure resolution through completion.
• Support testing, defect tracking, and post-conversion stabilization efforts.
• Maintain knowledge of investment products and trading methodologies.
• Collaborate with Trading, Technology, Product, Operations, Training, and Conversion teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
