Job summary

SolvChem, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Clerk to join our SC Production team in Midlothian, Texas.

This role is responsible for compiling and recording production data, preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced chemical production environment. Responsibilities include calculating production metrics, maintaining files, and ensuring safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

SolvChem, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Operations Clerk to join our SC Production team in Midlothian, Texas. This role is responsible for compiling and recording production data, preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced chemical production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, and product specifications following established procedures.
• Calculate production metrics, including types and quantities of items produced, materials used, scrap amounts, defect frequency, and worker/department production rates.
• Prepare clear production reports based on compiled data.
• Maintain organized files of documents used and prepared.
• Perform manual warehouse duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor.
• Support a culture of safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Comfortable working in an environment with exposure to heat/humidity, fumes, dirt, noise, and hazardous chemicals.
