Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates with Truck Drivers to safely position and chock vehicles for loading and unloading.
- Reviews bill of lading for inbound shipments to verify product type and quantity match Chemsolv's purchase order. Confirms the receiving tank has the appropriate capacity.
- Positions vehicles near the appropriate storage tanks and connect air or nitrogen lines (if applicable). Assists drivers in connecting hoses between the tanker, pump, and receiving lines.
- Verifies correct hookup to ensure the tanker is aligned with the proper storage tank. Confirm air pressure levels or readiness of the driver's pump before opening valves to begin product transfer.
- Collects and delivers retained samples of inbound bulk deliveries to the Plant Manager's office for testing or records.
- Operates a forklift regularly to move totes and drums for cleaning, filling, loading, and unloading.
- Pulls daily pick tickets and work orders; manages bills of lading for all outbound shipments.
- Moves materials and products between receiving, storage, shipping, and designated staging areas.
- Accurately records all material movements using a handheld scanner.
- Prepares outbound drums and products by confirming accuracy, ensuring cleanliness, and securely wrapping orders.
- Assist customers with pickups in a professional and helpful manner.
- Labels products with correct identifying information, including barcodes, placards, and hazard labels.
- Wears appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including the use of a respirator for up to 2-3 hours at a time.

- Be capable of lifting 50 to 100 pounds unassisted on a regular basis
- Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder on railcars or tankers
- Have a strong work ethic and organizational skills
- This position may occasionally require the use of a respirator when handling certain materials. For the respirator to properly fit and seal, employees must be clean shaven in the area where the mask seals to the face
- Have reliable mode of transportation
- Be able to pass a drug screen, including Marijuana
