Job summary

The Wittern Group in Des Moines, IA seeks an Account Placement/Customer Service Specialist to support the operations team with customer inquiries, routine account placements and special vending program implementations.

The role requires reliable, detail-oriented teamwork and strong communication to ensure timely service resolutions, accurate documentation, and high client retention. Moderate oversight and collaboration with the Operations Manager are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and vendor coordination.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to document in customer database.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and vendor inquiries and document in customer database.
• Review sales reports to identify malfunctioning machines and those to be collected.
• Assist in sourcing and qualifying 3rd party service providers.
• Communicate with vendors and clients, documenting and following up with service issues and account placements.
• Communicate service escalations and irregularities with suggested corrective action.
• Maintain database integrity with up-to-date documentation of contacts, properties, machine information and task notes.
• Assist with vendor compliance issues.
• Aim for client retention of 95% or greater.
• Ensure timely resolution and documentation of service calls and account transitions.
