Job summary

Brightline is seeking an Operations Center Controller to monitor real-time train operations, coordinate communications, and respond to service disruptions. You will oversee dispatch screens, radio channels, and GPS tracking to support timely decision-making and guest experience.

The role requires night, weekend, and holiday shifts, strong communication, and the ability to maintain accurate documentation while coordinating across trains, stations, ground transport and guest services.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email.
• Proficient in interpreting technical documentation and explaining to non-technical users.
• Experience in a job working nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Two (2) years of experience in a dispatching or operations control center environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time train operations, dispatch communications, and GPS tracking to ensure seamless service execution.
• Facilitate nightly reporting and employee communications, ensuring information flow across teams.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and operational challenges to support reporting and improvement.
• Anticipate potential service disruptions and develop recommendations to mitigate impact.
• Coordinate communication between dispatch, crews, stations, ground transport, and guest services.
• Prepare service impact reports and provide regular briefings.
