Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is hiring an Operations Business Analyst for a contract role in Boston, MA. The position is hybrid (3 days in office) and supports daily reconciliations and data validation across internal systems and external sources.

You will pull data from custodians and vendors, update Excel reconciliation files, identify breaks, and assist senior staff with reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in operations, middle office, reconciliations, or similar support roles.
• Exposure to asset management, banking operations, or financial services environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Strong data analysis skills, experience working with high-volume operational data with the ability to work across diverse datasets and translate inputs into outputs.
• Ability to synthesize key concepts and findings into clear summaries.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and ad-hoc operational reconciliations between internal systems and external data sources.
• Pull and validate data from custodians, vendors, and external websites.
• Update and maintain Excel-based reconciliation and control files.
• Identify, investigate, and document breaks and exceptions, escalating as appropriate.
• Support start-of-day and end-of-day operational control processes.
• Assist senior operations staff with reporting, data clean-up, and process support.
