Job summary

ApTask is seeking an Operations Analyst to support daily reconciliations and data analysis within a fast-paced Middle Office environment. The role emphasizes repeatable processes, accuracy, and collaboration with senior team members.

You will work with high-volume datasets, translate inputs into standardized outputs, and contribute to clear, concise summaries for leadership. Strong Excel skills and data mindset are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in operations, middle office, reconciliations, or similar support roles.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas).
• Strong data analysis skills, experience working with high-volume operational data with the ability to work across diverse datasets and translate varied inputs into standardized outputs.
• Ability to synthesize key concepts and findings into clear, well-organized summaries.

We are looking for an Operations Analyst to support daily reconciliations and data analysis within a Middle Office environment. This role is well-suited for someone with an operations background who is comfortable executing repeatable processes, working with data, and supporting senior team members.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in operations, middle office, reconciliations, or similar support roles
• Exposure to asset management, banking operations, or financial services environments
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
• Strong data analysis skills, experience working with high-volume operational data with the ability to work across diverse datasets and translate varied inputs into standardized outputs
• Ability to synthesize key concepts and findings into clear, well-organized summaries

Nice to Have:

• Experience with DUCO or other reconciliation platforms
• Experience with Bloomberg
• Experience with financial concepts like portfolio accounting and valuation, security master, corporate actions
