Job summary

The Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center (EDCJCC) is seeking a JxJ Manager of Operations & Audience Development to oversee planning, promotion, and execution of Jewish film and music programs in the Washington, DC area.

In this role you will lead end-to-end operations, conduct audience research, develop data-driven programming, and grow engagement while coordinating with marketing and development teams. Some evenings and weekend work are required in a hybrid in-person setting.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years relevant experience in live arts operations and programming.
• Demonstrated success in outreach and audience cultivation.
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience with data analysis and CRM systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational preparation and execution for film screenings, live music, festivals, and events.
• Establish systems for scheduling, production planning, ticketing, and event management.
• Develop planning frameworks for regular programs, special series, and major events.
• Track deliverables, timelines, milestones; set data standards and workflows.
• Support booking and scheduling of films and musical artists.
• Ensure cross-functional visibility into programs, deadlines, and resources.
• Design strategies for audience insights via surveys, focus groups, CRM analysis.
• Analyze attendance, pricing, demographics, and engagement metrics.
• Translate insights into actionable program and marketing recommendations.
• Lead outreach, identifying partners and communities to grow audiences.
• Collaborate with marketing and development to align strategies.
