The Operations Attendant at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex (JRTC), operated by MLB, is responsible for executing daily facility setups and breakdowns of clubhouses, meeting rooms, storage rooms, auxiliary sleeping quarters, and other related facilities for athletic and non-athletic events at the JRTC.

Responsibilities:

1. Setup and breakdown of all athletic and non-athletic events.
2. Transport and arrange tables, chairs, flip charts, and other supplies.
3. Ensure facility setups meet parameters set by the Coordinator and Lead Attendant.
4. Place notepads, pens, and waters in meeting rooms.
5. Setup and breakdown audio-visual equipment.
6. Assemble, move, and arrange lockers, beds, furniture, and equipment.
7. Thoroughly clean dugouts before and after use, including washing, scrubbing, and trash removal.
8. Fill and replenish hydration stations at athletic fields.
9. Assist with cleaning of the seating bowl at Holman Stadium.
10. Set up tents, tables, chairs, barricades, cones, and signage.
11. Assist with package deliveries across campus.
12. Serve as clubhouse attendant as needed.
13. Monitor and remove garbage around the grounds to maintain cleanliness.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the Coordinator and Lead Attendant.

Requirements:

1. Excellent verbal communication skills.
2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
3. Availability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
4. High attention to detail.
5. Physical stamina and mobility, including lifting, reaching, kneeling, and bending.
6. Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs regularly.
7. Effective communication with guests, co-workers, and managers.

The JRTC in Vero Beach, FL, serves as a year-round hub for amateur baseball and softball development, hosting signature youth events like the Nike RBI World Series and Hank Aaron Invitational. The facility, formerly Dodgertown, is named after Jackie Robinson to honor his legacy.
