Job summary

A.L.C. is seeking a stockroom/receiving associate in Houston to support customer experience by receiving shipments and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will own the stockroom, help replenish the sales floor after shipments, and assist during recovery periods.

Reports to the General Manager. You will handle shipment processing, transfers between stores and warehouse, and ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or related experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs (and occasionally more).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude and high energy.
• Availability to work retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and process replenishment to maintain stock levels.
• Process internal transfers between stores and warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and weekly reconciliation of negatives.
• Coordinate inventory adjustments with Operations Manager.
• Keep stockroom organized, with properly categorized and ticketed products.
• Pack and ship client orders per company standards.
• Collaborate with Stylists to process, pack, and ship consignments for clients/external stylists.
• Research and resolve shipping discrepancies with FedEx.
• Address store damages regularly and manage monthly supply orders.
• May assist on sales floor during peak times and as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

You will also take ownership of the stockroom and assist our team in replenishing the sales floor after shipment or during recovery periods. This role reports directly into the General Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process shipment of new product and replenishment
• Process internal transfers between stores and warehouse
• Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counting and weekly reconciliation of negatives on hand
• Liaise with Operations Manager for requesting inventory adjustments
• Maintain neat and organized stockroom, ensuring product is categorized and properly ticketed
• Pack and ship client orders in accordance with company standards
• Partner with Stylists to process, pack, and ship consignments for clients and external stylists
• Research and reconcile shipping errors with FedEx
• Process store damages on a regular basis
• Manage monthly supply orders and organization
• May assist on sales floor during peak times and as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
