Job summary

Gopuff is seeking Operations Associates to join our on-site operations team in Pensacola. You will perform picking, packing, receiving and inventory management, including handling beverages/food items and working with drivers.

The role requires handling various tasks across shifts and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines. Pay is market-based with location-specific adjustments; Pensacola, FL compensation is discussed during recruitment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience in a restaurant or retail environment (preferred, not required).
• Ability to work a fluid schedule across 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• General working knowledge of basic web-based software applications (e.g. Google G-Suite).
• Stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
• Receive and unpack pallets of product from vendors; ensure inventory matches PO/invoice; resolve discrepancies.
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
• Clean and organize sales floor and overall facility.
• Manage waste and spoilage through FIFO practices.
• Contact customers for substituted or out-of-stock items.
• Handle, scan and move product safely.
• Operate carts, pallet jacks, dollies and other equipment.
• Work in freezer locations periodically.
• Walk several flights of steps periodically.
• Prepare quality beverages and food menu items observing recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure accuracy of all food and beverage packaged for delivery.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Receive and put away orders; resolve discrepancies when not matching expiration requirements.
• Maintain Kitchen Facility organization and standards to ensure resources are accessible.
• Prepare, package and stage/handoff orders.
