Job summary

Gopuff is looking for an Operations Associate to join the operations team. Directly reporting to a Site Leader, OAs perform picking, packing, receiving, and work with partner drivers to keep orders moving.

This role requires drive, reliability and a willingness to work flexible shifts across all peak periods; candidates should be comfortable lifting up to 49 pounds and standing for long periods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Experience in restaurant or retail environment preferred.
• Ability to work a fluid schedule and be available during peak shifts.
• General knowledge of basic web-based software (e.g. Google G-Suite).
• Stand and walk for the duration of an assigned shift.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• Available to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
• Receive and unpack pallets, ensure inventory matches PO/invoice and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
• Clean and organize sales floor and facility.
• Manage waste and spoilage with FIFO practices.
• Contact customers for substituted or out-of-stock items.
• Handle and move product safely with carts and equipment.
• Work in freezer locations periodically during shifts.
• Prepare, package and stage/handoff orders.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
