Job summary

Socha Capital is hiring an Operations Associate who enjoys improving how work gets done and ensuring day-to-day tasks are completed accurately. This is not a traditional admin role; you’ll work with the Operations Manager to support systems, data, and technology that keep the firm running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in operations or related roles.
• Strong Excel with formulas and pivots.
• Experience with CRM and project management systems.
• Comfort with AI tools to boost productivity.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Finance/RIA experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain recurring operational reporting, dashboards, Excel-based tools, business metrics, and data across firm systems.
• Help build, document, test, and improve business systems, workflows, automations, and standard operating procedures.
• Support cross-functional projects by maintaining timelines, tracking action items and dependencies, following up on deliverables, and helping initiatives move from planning through completion.
• Execute recurring operational processes accurately, consistently, and on schedule, escalating issues when appropriate.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including technology access, equipment, documentation, systems setup, and operational checklists.
• Support vendor relationships, software renewals, operational contracts, and technology inventory.
• Serve as the first point of contact for routine technology support, coordinating with our managed IT provider on escalated issues.
• Leverage technology and AI to reduce manual work, improve reporting, and increase operational efficiency.
• Identify inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve existing processes, and work with the Operations Manager to develop and implement solutions.
