Position Overview

We are seeking an Operations Associate to join our Boston team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, skilled in general maintenance, and committed to maintaining pristine properties for our guests.

This role involves assisting the Operations Team with preparing new units, ensuring existing units are guest-ready, and addressing issues such as lockouts, furniture replacements, and repairs, while keeping Operations Managers informed.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate with Operations Managers to ensure properties are ready for guest move-ins.
  2. Serve as the operational frontline, handling maintenance, repairs, furniture assembly, and WiFi troubleshooting.
  3. Conduct pre-check-in and post-check-out inspections using mobile checklists.
  4. Manage apartment turnovers in collaboration with housekeeping, including repairs, restocking, and basic cleaning support.
  5. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation, providing feedback to housekeeping teams.
  6. Maintain Blueground’s corporate vans, ensuring they are well-stocked and in good condition.
  7. Perform home walkthroughs to verify quality and aesthetics.
  8. Participate in operational projects like inventory management and content creation.
  9. Upload property information onto internal platforms for guest instructions.
  10. Act as the main point of contact between Operations Leaders and Customer Experience teams.
  11. Manage on-the-go tasks and critical needs efficiently.
Minimum Requirements
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform minor household repairs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to lift items over 30 lbs.
  • Enthusiasm for operational excellence.
  • Experience leading field or housekeeping teams is a plus.
  • Adaptability to changing daily needs.
  • Proficiency with technology (email, Slack, G Suite).
  • Positive, friendly attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Additional Requirements
  • Availability to work at least one weekend per week, up to 40 hours.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (DC/SEA/LA/SF/SAN) with mileage reimbursement.
