Job description

Gopuff is looking for Operations Associates (OAs) to join the operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs play an essential role by demonstrating drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. Responsibilities include picking, packing, receiving products within our site and kitchen (if applicable), and coordinating with partner drivers.

Customers rely on Gopuff for their everyday essentials—day and night, rain or shine. We are building a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers eager to reshape retail faster than ever. And it doesn't hurt if you like snacks!

Responsibilities:
  1. Pick and pack items for dispatch to customers.
  2. Receive and unpack pallets, ensure inventory matches purchase orders/invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
  3. Manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and facility.
  5. Manage waste and spoilage following FIFO practices.
  6. Contact customers regarding substitutions or out-of-stock items.
  7. Handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently.
  8. Stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts.
  9. Use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and equipment to move products.
  10. Handle products containing tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol.
  11. Work periodically in freezer locations.
  12. Walk several flights of steps as needed.
  13. Prepare quality beverages and food items following recipes and standards.
  14. Ensure accuracy in food and beverage packaging for delivery.
  15. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
  16. Receive, verify, and resolve discrepancies in orders/invoices.
  17. Maintain organization and standards in the kitchen, managing waste and spoilage.
  18. Prepare, package, and stage orders for delivery.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in restaurant or retail (preferred but not required).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including peak shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
  • Basic knowledge of web-based applications (e.g., Google G-Suite).
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts.
  • Lift up to 49 pounds.
  • Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
