Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a warehousing and distribution professional in Minnesota. The role involves negotiating freight rates, building carrier relationships, and managing load tenders to ensure timely, cost-efficient service.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months customer service experience, preferably in transportation.
• Must have experience managing high call and email volume.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze information skillfully.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate freight rates with carriers.
• Develop collaborative carrier relationships and work with Account Managers.
• Assign carriers and provide load tenders.
• Find and develop new logistics/freight opportunities for Pilot offices and external customers.
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Negotiating Freight Rates
• Develop collaborative carrier relationships
• Develop collaborative carrier relationships and work with Account Managers to ensure quality service
• Assigning carriers and providing load tenders
• Find and develop new logistics/freight opportunities and design carrier solutions for other Pilot offices and external customers
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Pay range:

$27 per hour-$29 per hour

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
