Job summary

The Restaurant Store, operated by Clark Associates, is seeking an Operations Associate in Reading, PA to assist the Product Lifecycle Manager with daily material handling and stocking strategies at the branch. You will support receiving, organization, and presentation to align with sales and inventory goals.

Responsibilities include efficient receiving, FIFO stock rotation, and maintaining cleanliness while collaborating with merchandising and inventory teams to ensure proper product placement

Qualifications

• Strong ability to handle stock and maintain organized environments.
• Effective communication with merchandising and inventory teams.
• Ability to follow FIFO and manage damaged/expired products.

Responsibilities

• Execute efficient receiving and put-away of incoming stock using pallet jacks, carts and/or powered equipment.
• Ensure a high level of organization and neatness while completing daily restocking tasks.
• Communicate effectively with the Merchandising and Inventory teams to sufficiently stock products in correct merchandising locations within the branch.
• Communicate effectively with the Product Lifecycle Manager to address any operational issues.
• Rotate stock (FIFO) and pull damaged and expired products as needed.
• Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the store.

The Operations Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for assisting the Product Lifecycle Manager with all aspects of daily material handling in a retail branch location. The Operations Associate will achieve a variety of operational goals through effective receiving, stocking, and presentation strategies that align with the goals of our sales, merchandising, order fulfillment, and inventory teams.
