Responsibilities
Scheduler:
  • Provide on-call evening and weekend scheduling support to ensure medical clerks coverage for multiple clinics and departments at a federal hospital.
  • Receive calls, emails, or texts from employees unable to work their scheduled shifts.
  • Contact backup employees from the on-call pool to find replacements.
  • Notify clinic supervisors of employee absences and potential replacements.
  • Assist in developing, updating, maintaining, and submitting work schedules and call-out logs/reports for department supervisors and accounting.

This remote role covers weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays, supporting multiple clinic staffing at a federal facility, with pay based on days supported:

  • Monday – Friday, 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM EST
  • Saturday, Sunday, and holidays availability required.
Operations Support (Part-time, 10-15 hours/week):
  • Assist in managing timesheet reports for contractor personnel, supporting payroll and invoicing per DCAA guidelines.
  • Support scheduling and conducting interviews for multiple positions, and assist in onboarding and compliance processes.
  • Ensure staffing levels meet contract requirements and personnel meet qualifications and immunization standards.
  • Monitor staff performance, communicate work expectations, and report on progress to clients and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience managing 24x7 absence coverage staffing for hospital departments and clinics.
  • One year of experience in high-volume medical or administrative staffing, including sourcing, recruitment, and placement.
  • Associate’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to manage sensitive situations professionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and scheduling software.
  • Ability to work effectively with management, staff, and clients.
