Responsibilities:

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Perform all opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• In the absence of the Store Manager, oversee hourly associates.
• Process all corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with merchandise receipt, returns, and damaged goods processing.
• Help ensure proper staffing and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities according to company cash handling practices.
• Maintain promotional displays and signage.
• Assist with merchandising, seasonal displays, and store supplies management.
• Help create weekly schedules and control expenses.
• Manage checkout area to maximize impulse sales and ensure product replenishment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
