Responsibilities

Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations. Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates as delegated by the Store Manager.

• Assist with store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is not present, oversee hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives and store-related communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to adhere to cash handling practices.
• Manage store displays and seasonal areas for promotional effectiveness.
• Coordinate signage and merchandising efforts.
• Process damaged merchandise daily.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
• Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales.
• Refill coolers and display racks daily.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
