Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with all operational tasks delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  • Assisting with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
  • Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
  • Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
  • Managing store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
  • Providing direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
  • Processing corporate directives and store communications.
  • Assisting with merchandise receipt, return, and damage processing.
  • Supporting staffing, sales effectiveness, cash handling, merchandising, and supply management.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Preferred prior retail and management experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
