Responsibilities include:

  1. Assisting with all operational tasks delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
  2. Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
  3. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
  4. Protecting company assets and maintaining safety policies.
  5. Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
  6. Overseeing store cleanliness and organization, including stockroom and sales floor.
  7. Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
  8. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
  9. Assisting with merchandise receipt, returns, and damaged goods processing.
  10. Supporting staffing, sales floor effectiveness, and cash handling practices.
  11. Managing promotional displays and seasonal areas.
  12. Coordinating signage and store displays.
  13. Assisting with weekly scheduling and expense control.
  14. Maintaining checkout area merchandising to maximize sales.
  15. Refilling store fixtures and displays daily.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Prior retail and management experience preferred.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
  4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
