Responsibilities

Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations. Also assist with hiring, training, and developing store associates.

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Coordinate store signage and promotional displays.
• Manage seasonal areas and merchandise displays.
• Assist with weekly scheduling and store supplies management.
• Maintain checkout area and store displays to maximize sales.
• Refill coolers and program racks daily.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
