Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment with customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Associates.
• Process all corporate directives and related communications as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with receipt and return of DSD merchandise, following VIP and DSD policies.
• Ensure proper staffing coverage and sales effectiveness daily.
• Manage cashiering activities to ensure cash handling practices and guidelines are followed.
• Manage promotional displays and seasonal store areas.
• Coordinate signage and merchandise replenishment.
• Assist in creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout area to maximize impulse sales.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
