Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
2. Helping with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
3. Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Protecting and securing all company assets, including cash.
5. Maintaining safety policies and procedures.
6. Ensuring a professional environment with customers and staff.
7. Maintaining store areas to company standards, including recovery.
8. Providing supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
9. Processing corporate directives and store communications.
10. Assisting with receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise.
11. Ensuring proper staffing and sales floor effectiveness.
12. Managing cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
13. Overseeing store displays, signage, and seasonal areas.
14. Assisting in creating weekly schedules and managing supplies and expenses.
15. Maintaining checkout area and store displays to maximize sales.
16. Refilling coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Preferred prior retail and management experience.
2. Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
3. Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
