Responsibilities include assisting with all operational tasks delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations, and supporting hiring, training, and development of store staff.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager
• Help protect and secure store assets, including cash
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Maintain a professional environment with customers and staff
• Maintain store areas to company standards, including recovery
• Direct supervision of hourly associates when the Store Manager is not present
• Process corporate directives and communicate store activities
• Assist with merchandise receipt, return, and damaged goods processing
• Help create weekly staff schedules
• Manage store supplies and expenses
• Assist with merchandising and checkout area management
• Ensure store displays and coolers are replenished daily

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
