Responsibilities

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Support hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Perform store functions and daily activities as directed.
• Handle opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards.
• When the Store Manager is absent, oversee hourly associates.
• Process corporate directives and communicate related store activities.
• Assist with receipt and return of merchandise, following company policies.
• Manage staffing coverage and sales floor effectiveness.
• Oversee cashiering activities and cash handling practices.
• Maintain promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and merchandise displays.
• Assist with store supplies and expense management.
• Ensure the checkout area is optimized for sales.
• Refill coolers and program racks/displays daily.

Minimum Requirements

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
